Wellness Retreat

We are thrilled to have our first ever Helen’s Daughters Wellness Retreat! Today we celebrate our FarmHers as they get to unwind, relax and bond with their fellow sisters in agriculture at the Pigeon Island National Landmark. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Tanya Destang-Beaubrun who imparted years’ worth of knowledge on self-care during the wellness retreat for members. Helen’s Daughters FarmHers now know the importance of nurturing themselves while feeding the nation.
Compost Training

Helen’s Daughters held a composting workshop at Project Chocolat. The FarmHers were all hands on deck as they learnt the theoretical and practical of creating organic compost and organic fertilizers. This compost will be used for our hybrid organic farm at Project Chocolat.
Health & Wellness Fair
September 17, 2022
Residents of Soufriere and Choiseul made their health a priority and accessed a myriad of free services at Helen’s Daughters third health clinic which was held at Project Chocolat. We saw a total of 101 patients, and we are extremely happy to play our part in bridging the gap between health and agriculture.
