Maya is Helen’s Daughters’ dedicated Finance Officer. She brings a wealth of experience from both public and private sectors to her role, and holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of the West Indies - Global Campus.  In recognition of her outstanding work, Maya was honored with the National Award of Excellence for Accounting in 2016. She has previously worked with the Government of Saint Lucia, demonstrating a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and community development. Her passion for sustainability is evident through her involvement in tree planting initiatives with the Interact Club while at school.

Maya’s love for finance, interest in agriculture and empowering women have found a home by working with Helen’s Daughters. Her diverse background combines financial expertise with a deep commitment to environmental and community causes.
